I mean, it'd keep the fans anticipating.. as well as, an official website could be used for downloadable Music Video in HD Quality because fangirls are proud to let the world know who they're fangirling about, right? So, they need something presentable to share on facebook and other networking sites, rather than lame LQ vids recorded from some lame camera of a fan who has access to it. Besides, the MV's already been made anyways, right? The Entertainment Company's might as well release an HD Quality version of the MV on their Official Website so fangirls could feast on it, anticipate the group's comeback album, and buy it! They could even sell several versions of the album where one has a couple songs and a DVD version of the MV or another version of the album where it has all of the songs in it except the ones on the other version. Just ask JOHNNY'S ENTERTAINMENT how they rake all of the money from their fans! I'm always broke during the summer because of JOHNNY'S ENTERTAINMENT due to KAT-TUN cds/dvds. | Thing 2: | No! Of course not! First, IDOL GROUPS need to possess talent in either singing, dancing, and/or acting. Second, they need a very catchy tune to get their fans' digging their music! Third, their music must be relevant & must be specific to the audience they're trying to capture--hence, TAGLISH! Fourth, their music genre in an album should vary based on each members' individual style! I mean, they'll get more fans that way, since everyone has varying preference in music. For example: 1 member's style should focus on R&B for his solo song, another member on techno/techtonik-ish, another member on rapping and hiphop, another member on pop, etc. |

| Thing 2: | Of course, the sixth one is the hair and the make-up! Hair & make-up can completely transform a person from being an ordinary person to a celebrity-like person. Seventh, the personality of the members! Especially when they're given the opportunity to show-off their individuality, they should show-off their other talents besides singing, dancing, and acting--something that the audience can relate to; for example: if they can beatbox, do the NIKE, etc. Eighth, they should attend "SPEECH" lessons, so that during interviews they'll sound more refined and they'll sound more charismatic that will draw the fans in, and tune in to their radio shows. Ninth, though IDOL GROUPS are specific to an Entertainment Company--they shouldn't be exclusive to any TV networks. I mean, if they want to get a bang for their buck, it'd be smart of entertainment companies to let their artists perform in as much networks as they can. The more awareness of the audience about the group, the more influx of album sales will come. Tenth, IDOL GROUPS should be more rare on TV. I mean, they should only come out on media when they have a new single and/or album out, because it'll keep their fans anticipating for their comeback. BUT Meljohn Magno's personal facebook (if updated and acitve) should keep the fans updated -- so that the fans would still feel "CLOSE" to their idols. If they appear too often on TV, they might be taken for granted as they are so readily available. During the times that they aren't viewable on TV, they should spend their time practicing for their comeback and come out with tons of HIT songs for the next album that can capture the hearts of everyone--be it a Filipina, another race of asian, a caucasian, etc. I mean, if the songs sound good, the language doesn't even matter. Eleventh, they should always act professional, and keep in mind that they are IDOLS, and that they should show that they are ALPHA MALES whether it be in sports, or in any competitive variety show! Twelfth, they should have their own interview columns exclusively in certain IDOL magazines and they should have guestings in variety shows where they could show off what kind of a man they are! Also, they should have a documentary-type of broadcast about them like 2NE1TV! Thirteenth, their companies should start treating them like a top-notch celebrity, since that's what they'll become! Fourteenth, the MOST IMPORTANT is for IDOL groups to have an ADDICTING DANCE CHOREOGRAPHY that's unique to them; and therefore, become their SIGNATURE move. For example: Taeyang, Wondergirls, SNSD, etc.. they have addicting dance choreography! |
